Mary Langford Lee

Mrs. Mary Langford Lee, age 91, of 840 Sparta Road, Sandersville, died Thursday, April 29, in the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 1, at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church of Sandersville with interment in the Brownwood Cemetery.
Rev. Marlon Lastinger will officiate. Pallbearers will be Adam Lee, Jon Lee, Miles Lee, A.W. Smith, Dean Davis and Lyn Leverett.

Mrs. Lee was a native of Pike County, Georgia the daughter of the late
Henry Grady Langford and the late Janie Sappington Langford. She was a graduate of Bessie Tift College, a former teacher and a homemaker. Mrs. Lee was a long standing and faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Sandersville. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Peterman (E.P.) Lee.

Survivors include her son, Charles (Jeanie) Lee of Sandersville, three grandsons, Adam (Ashley) Lee of Augusta, Jon Lee of Tennille, and Miles Lee of Oxford, Mississippi, a sister, Mrs. Hazel (Al) Milby of Meansville.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the residence of Charles & Jeanie Lee, 187 Walden Road, Sandersville.

The family suggests donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation- Georgia Chapter, 559 Pharr Road, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30305 or to the donor’s favorite charity.
