Mary Ethel Tanner Mcneely

Mary Ethel Tanner McNeely, age 71, of Sandersville Georgia, departed this life February 16, 2019, following an extended illness. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 2 p.m. at Davisboro Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at Davisboro Baptist Church.  Reverend Larry Glover and Reverend Bobby Williford will officiate.

Ms. McNeely was a native of Washington County. She was a beautician and hair stylist for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Holton; parents, Herman Tanner Sr. and Grace Robinson Tanner; sister, Barbara Ann Tanner Harris; and brothers, Herman Tanner Jr. and Eugene Tanner.  She is survived by daughter, Denise Holton Amerson of Davisboro; grandchildren, Josh Brantley of Atlanta, Erica Brantley Lanier and husband Spencer of Statesboro; and great grandchildren, Emma and Eli Lanier of Statesboro.
