Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Waller Weller, age 91, of Sandersville died Monday morning, January 26, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 29th, in the Mt.Gilead Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the Mt. Gilead Church Cemetery. Elder Kenneth Brantley will officiate. Pallbearers will be Clint Hall, Tristan Smith, Daniel Hall, David Brantley, Trey Waller, Chris Smith, and Dr. Freddie Cullens. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Lord, Lynn Brantley, Emmitt Hall, Milton Williams, and Zachary Hart.
Mrs. Weller was a native of Washington County, the daughter of the late James Horace Waller and the late Annabelle Brantley Waller. She was the wife of the late Frank Kurt Weller, Jr. and was preceded in death by her son, Frank Kurt Weller III. Mrs. Weller and her late husband were owners of Southside Market in Ft. Lauderdale before retiring and moving back to Washington County. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Vicki Weller Brennan of Sandersville; five grandchildren, Sean Brennan, Melanie Weller Ott, Heidi Weller Roberson, Karmin Weller Goodwin and Mark Brennan III; seven great-grandchildren, Mark Brennan IV, Cameron Ott, Nathan Ott, John David Roberson, Elise Roberson, Julia Roberson and Gipson Goodwin; a brother, Julius Waller of Sandersville; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Weller of West Monroe, LA; her loving caregiver, Lisa Marsh; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28th.
The family suggests donations be made to the Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church Building Fund, 154 Mt. Gilead Road, Tennille, Georgia 31089.
