Max Hubert Sneed

Mr. Max Hubert “Sam” Sneed, age 68 of Holmes Cannery Road in Sandersville, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Comfort Creek Nursing Home in Wadley following an extended illness.  A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at May and Smith Funeral Directors. Pastor Richard Adams will officiate.

Mr. Sneed was born in Monette, Arkansas, the son of the late Mack Sneed and the late Pearlie Bryan Sneed. Sam, as he was known by those who knew him best was a mechanic by trade, but he also enjoyed running the chainsaw and heavy equipment. During his working career he also drove an 18-wheeler. Sam loved to fish and be outdoors.

Mr. Sneed is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann Lansaw Sneed; son, Mack Sneed of Arkansas; sister, Joyce Sparkman of Harrison, Arkansas; and special friends, Patsy and Steve O’Neal of Sandersville.
