May & Smith Funeral Direcotrs Covid-19 Health Update

Our counties response to the Covid 19 pandemic has caused us all to change the way we live. After serving a number of families post the response implementation, May and Smith Funeral Directors has created a set of practices that seem to be working well.

1. All indoor services are prohibited at this time. In response to that, we are having family only, private graveside funerals. These services are being recorded and posted on our website at the bottom of the deceased obituary.
2. Families are being allowed to have family only and private viewings in numbers of ten or less.
3. In most cases we are allowing public viewing at funeral home during a designated window of time and again in numbers of ten or less.
4. We encourage contact with our business office to be by phone @ 478-552-2501, fax @ 478-552-7471, email @ msfuneraldirectors.com or if in person by appointment.
5. We also encourage the use of our website for complete obituary information and to send online condolences.
6. May and Smith is also offering to conduct a memorial service at a later date, when presumed save, at the funeral home or at a church to any family we serve during this time.

We are appreciative of the publics effort and willingness to adapt to the new standards. We sincerely hope that soon we will be back to a normal way of operating. We will continue to monitor this environment and update the public as things change.
