Melissa Brantley Morrison

Mrs. Melissa Brantley Morrison, age 41, of Sandersville, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15th at 3:00pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Oliver officiating.

Melissa was born in Washington County. She was a former produce manager for Piggly Wiggly and Food Max Grocery Stores and she was a homemaker. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are her husband Brandon K. Morrison and children Hunter Allen Morrison and Ashlyn Lee Morrison all of Sandersville, her mother Betty Jean and Ben Williams of Riddleville and father Forrest L. Brantley of Sandersville, sisters, Nicole Mead (Rick) of Augusta, Wendy Newsome (Preston) of Eatonton, and April Williams of Riddleville, father and mother in law Fred and Linda Morrison of Milledgeville, sister in laws Niki Simmons of Milledgeville and Stacey Frost of Sandersville and brother in law Corey Morrison of Milledgeville.

Donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
