Melvin Lewis Yarbrough

Mr. Melvin Lewis Yarbrough, age 53, of Sandersville, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015. A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, November 16th at 2:00 p.m. at the Piney Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Danny Thomas officiating.

Melvin was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He worked in wood production, most recently working for Woody’s Lumber Company in Toomsboro. He is preceded in death by his father William E. Grady Yarbrough.

Survivors are; his daughter, Gracey Melyn Yarbrough of Wrightsville, his mother, Evelyn Freeman Yarbrough of Harrison, and siblings, Greg S. Yarbrough of Milledgeville, Gina Elizabeth Y. Lindsey and her husband Chris and Gralin E. “Peanut” Yarbrough all of Harrison.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
