Mildred O'Quinn

July 31, 1920 — September 19, 2019

Mrs. Mildred Harrington O'Quinn, age 99, of Sandersville died on Thursday September 19, 2019 at the Extended Care Facility of Washington County Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. O'Quinn will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, at Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Reverend Larry Giles will officiate.

Mrs. O'Quinn was born in Milledgeville, the daughter of the late Lawrence Rufus Harrington and the late Lola Ione Follendore Harrington.  She was the wife of the late William Bryant O'Quinn and was preceded in death by her son, Victor Bryant "Vic" O'Quinn and a granddaughter, Karen Archer  Ivey.   Mrs. O'Quinn attended Peabody School and the Women's College of Georgia.  She was a homemaker.  Some of her hobbies were reading, sewing, cooking and gardening.

Survivors are: her daughters, Faye Pennington of Milledgeville, Sandra O'Quinn Bowen and her husband Donnie of Tennille, Jenny Franklin and her husband Ben of Sandersville; daughter in law, Kathy Arnesen O'Quinn; grandchildren, Kathy Archer Sheppard, Shannon Bowen Brinson, Bryant Bowen, William Smith, Sharon Franklin, Alana O'Quinn, Victoria O'Quinn; fourteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
