Mildred Martin Osborne

Mrs. Mildred Martin Osborne, age 71, of Metter, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Azalea Health and Rehab. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.

Mrs. Osborne was born in Sandersville, the daughter of the late James Martin and the late Lutrell Sweat Martin. She spent her working career as a seamstress in the Textile industry. Mrs. Osborne loved to sit and laugh and talk with friends. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Osborne is survived by her children, Shane Griffin and his wife Nikki of Texas, Jamie Osborne and his wife Serenity of Nevils, and Angela Williams of Register; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Marjorie Welch and her husband Ray of Turbeville, SC.
