Mimi Albea Rogers

Mrs. Mimi Albea Rogers, age 36, of Sandersville, died Monday, June 21, 2010 in the University Hospital in Augusta. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church of Sandersville with services and burial at 4:00pm at the Danburg Baptist Church, near Washington. The Rev. Lee Lacey and Rev. Ficklen Guin will officiate.

Mrs. Rogers was a native of Wilkes County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Lucille Ware Albea. She was a physical therapist with the Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville. She was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sandersville.

Survivors are; her husband Christopher Rogers of Sandersville, her father Thomas Albea of Washington, her sister Yvonne Albea also of Washington and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 7pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
