Mitch Pervis Fuqua

Mr. Mitch Pervis Fuqua, age 79, of Tennille, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness.

A private service will be scheduled at a later date.

Mitch was born in Dodge County, Georgia, the son of the late Herbert Wayne Fuqua and the late Kathryn "Kitty" Pervis Fuqua.  He was preceded in death by his son, Mitch Pervis Fuqua.  Mitch grew up in Washington County and later graduated from Emory University in Atlanta. He had been employed as a chemist for the United States Food and Drug Administration. He helped develop the computer system for Lockheed of Georgia and was manager of computer services for Southern Airways.  He was a former general manager for Computer Microfilm International.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Fuqua of Tennille; his beloved step son, Jason Bonner; and two grandchildren, Matthew Fuqua and Branda Fuqua.
