Myrtice Marie Douglas

August 28, 1946 — February 14, 2019

Mrs. Myrtice Marie Douglas, age 72, of Tennille, died in Dublin, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, February 18 at Piney Mount United Methodist Church near Tennille with burial in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille.  Reverend Mike Bankston and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.  Pallbearers will be James Branan, Daulton Lee, Tristen Lambert, Wesley Lambert, Keith Dryden and Chris Dryden.

Mrs. Douglas was a native of Irwin County, the daughter of the late Cecil Lee Rabon and the late Irma Mae Swailes Rabon.  She was a retired real estate manager for Cumberland Oaks and Harbor Pines in Camden County.  She was a member of Piney Mount United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Charles Kevin "Chuck" Whiddon and his wife Dianne of Tennille, Karen Marie Lee of Kingsland and Ashlynn Douglas Branan and her husband James of Covington; grandchildren, Brittany Lee, Daulton Lee, Alyssa Lee,  Justin Whiddon, Tonya Ellis, Tara Clanahan and Lisa Inglet; great grandchildren, Tristen Lambert, Wesley Lambert, Grayson Lambert, Skyler Hill, Elaina Inglet, Johnathan Jebram, Garrett Inglet, Mason Lambert and Chase Hunter; and sister in law, Margaret Rabon of Tennille.

The family will greet friends at Piney Mount United Methodist Church on Monday.
