Myrtie Osborne Rentz

Mrs. Myrtie Rentz, age 51, of Augusta died January 11, 2012 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 15th, at 3:00 P.M. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The Rev. Bobby Williford will officiate.

Mrs. Rentz was a native of Cook County and grew up in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of the late Walter Clinton Osborne and the late Julia Estelle Osborne Perdue. She was a homemaker and a wonderful and loving caregiver and friend.

Survivors are her husband, Steve Wildon Rentz; her son, Michael Steven Rentz of Augusta; five grandchildren, Joriann Rentz, Carrington Rentz, Keira Hughs, Keion Whitley and Alex Swann; a brother, Junior Osborne of Tennille; sisters, Susie Waters of Tennille and Oneita Baker, of Milledgeville.

The family will receive friends at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday.
