Nancy Carolyn Amerson

Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Ivey Amerson, age 82, of Warner Robins, died on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in Warner Robins.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 7, 2021, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel, in Sandersville with burial in the Amerson Family Cemetery.  Reverend Rick Arrowood will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Barney Chandler, Keith McCoy, Tommy Cowart, William Dukes, Bubba Wiles, Edward Norris and Tommy Smith.

Mrs. Amerson was born in Durham NC, the daughter of the late Tommy Alson Ivey and the late Gladys Mildred Lindsey Amerson.  She was the wife of the late Billy Eugene Amerson and the mother of the late Anthony Eugene Amerson.   Mrs. Amerson was a homemaker.

Survivors include, daughter, Cathy Amerson Settle of Grainer, NC; three sisters, Martha Ivey Hendricks and her husband Bobby of Sandersville, Dolly Ivey Arrowwood and her husband Rick of Byron, and Dotty Ivey Morgan and her husband Jeff of Macon; and brother, Henry Frank Ivey and his wife Cathy of Douglas.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 1:00 P.M. Thursday until the hour of service.
