Mrs. Nellie Phillips Osborne, age 68, of 220 Waco Drive in Sandersville died Thursday morning April 2 . Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 4 in the May & Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The Rev. Bobby Williford will officiate with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille.

Mrs. Osborne was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Ralph F. Phillips and the late Louise Nellie Brantley Phillips. She was the widow of the late Walter Clinton Osborne. Mrs. Osborne was a retired seamstress and a homemaker. She was a member of the Kendall Heights Church of God.

Survivors are her two daughters, Karen (Nick) Sellars of Martinez and Deborah (Vince) Robinson of Deepstep, four stepchildren, Susie Waters of Tennille, Myrtie Rentz of Augusta, Anita Baker of Milledgeville and Walter C. Osborne, Jr. of Tennille, four grandchildren, Nickie Hood , Kelly Hood, Eli Robinson and Destiny Faith Robinson, a great grandson, Bryce Hood , a very dear friend , Ray Waters, four brothers, Bobby Philips of Fair Hope, Ala., Wyman Phillips of Grovetown, David Philips of Sandersville and Glenn Phillips of Tennille.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday evening.
