Nina Trussell Curl

Ms. Nina Trussell Curl, age 85, of Swainsboro, died Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Emanuel County Medical Nursing Home following an extended illness.  A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 4 ^th at 11:00 a.m. in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville.  Reverend Albert Fields will officiate.

Ms. Curl was born and reared in Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph Trussell Sr. and the late Ella Will Murphy Trussell.  During her life she resided in both Swainsboro and Sandersville working in Hospital Administration for Emanuel County Hospital and retiring from Washington County Regional Medical Center in medical records.  Ms. Curl was of the Baptist faith and an avid reader.  Her daughters, Diane Leveque and Barbara Holder predecease Ms. Curl.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Curl Roberts of Middletown Connecticut and Phyllis Curl Shore of Swainsboro; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and siblings, C.J. “Fuzzy” Trussell III and his wife Carolyn of Denton, Texas and Edith T. “Polly” Fields of Sandersville.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Graveside.
