Pamela Wiggins

Pamela Veal Wiggins, age 58, of Betty Street, Sandersville, died Friday, September 24, 2021, at Washington County Regional Medical Center.   A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 11:00 A.M. at Washington County Memorial Gardens.  Reverend Scott Ferguson and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service in the Cemetery.

Pam was a lifelong resident of Sandersville, the daughter of the late Reginal C. Veal and the late Betty Norris Veal.  She was a 1981 graduate of Brentwood School and began her working career with Moore’s Department Store in Sandersville.  Pam, along with her mother Betty, owned and operated the former Fashion Tree clothing store prior to working as an administrative secretary for Citizens Bank.  Pam's last employment was working in the library at Oconee Fall Line Technical School.   She loved her work with the Washington County Board of Elections as a poll worker.  Pam was an avid reader and had a passion for listening to music.  She cherished family and especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Wiggins; daughter, Summer W. Reker (Jacob); grandchildren, Jacob Lindsey, Jemma Reker and Josie Reker; her brother Perry Veal (Jamie) all of Sandersville and extended family.
