Pat Lanthrip Baucom

Mrs. Pat Lanthrip Baucom, age 56, of Transylvania Drive in Sandersville, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Baucom was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County the daughter of the late Marlie J. Lanthrip, Sr. and the late Mattie Lizzie Sellars Lanthrip. She worked as a private sitter and she attended the Kendall Heights Church of God. She is predeceased by her brother, Larry Lanthrip and her sister Dale L. Davis.

Survivors are: her children, Sara Baucom and Michael Baucom, Jr. both of Sandersville; her granddaughter, Mattie Elizabeth Moore; a brother, Marlie J. (Tina) Lanthrip, Jr.; sisters, Connie S. (Harold) Usry, Betty Williford, and Elaine Lanthrip all of Sandersville; the father of her children Michael A. Baucom, Sr.; and nieces and nephews.
