Patricia 'Pat' Carolyn Harp, age 70 of Conyers, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. Ms. Harp is preceded in death by her parents, H.R. and Ruby Poole. She is survived by her daughter, Sholar Mitchell, Conyers, GA; granddaughter, Katie Mitchell, Conyers, GA; sister, Barbara West, Sandersville, GA; aunt, Kathyrn Adams, Tallahassee, FL. She adored her granddaughter, Katie and her Shih Tzu, Peekay. She cherished her role as UGA Nana and was able to attend Katie's recent graduation party, despite increasing health issues. Ms. Harp enjoyed yardwork, flowers and fishing. Most important to her was taking care of everyone she knew. The family would like to acknowledge and gratefully thank the staff of Magnolia House for the compassionate care given to our Mama/Nana. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Culverton Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta, GA with Rev. Brian Hill officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, May 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
