Mrs. Patricia G. Tanner, age 83 of Harrison, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Wrightsville Manor after an extended illness. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Harrison with burial following in the church cemetery. Reverend Andy Carter will officiate, and the family will receive friends on Monday, November 24,2025 from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the church.

Mrs. Tanner was born in Glen Burnie, Maryland, the daughter of the late George Granger, Sr. and the late Jessie Tyler. She met and married her husband, the late Wilmer Tanner while he was stationed in Maryland with the Army Reserves and the couple moved back home to Georgia. Mrs. Tanner was a hairdresser and also enjoyed arranging flowers for her friends and her church, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a people person and loved animals, especially cats. In addition to her parents, and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Willie Tanner; sister, Mary Reiss; and brother, George Granger, Jr. Mrs. Tanner is survived by her son, Vince Tanner of Harrison.
