Paul Perrian Padgett Sr., 86, of Holden Beach died April 1 at Claire Bridge of Wilmington.
He was born in Sandersville, Georgia on May 27, 1923, the son of the late Paul and Marion Padgett.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha H. Padgett. Surviving are two daughters, Jeanclaire Morris of Sandersville, and Marlaine Thomas of Supply, one son, Paul P. Padgett Jr., and wife Lisa of Dallas, Georgia, one brother, Charles Padgett and wife Anita of Blairsville, Georgia; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was held April 10 at Camp United Methodist Church in Shallotte.
A comitial Service will be Saturday, April 17, 10AM at Brownwood Cemetery, Sandersville, Georgia.
Memorial donations may be made to Camp United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 776, Shallotte, NC 28459.
