Paulette Brantley Jones

Ms. Paulette Brantley Jones, age 67, of Sandersville died Friday, February 9, 2018 following a brief illness.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16 ^th at 5:00 p.m. followed by a gathering of family and friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.

Paulette was born in Washington County, the daughter of the late Paul Brantley.  A talented singer and performer at a very early age, Paulette received a music scholarship from Georgia College in Milledgeville for her music and theatrical performance in “Funny Girl” while at Washington County High School.  She later starred in many local area theatrical plays including “Gypsy” and “Steel Magnolias”.  Paulette spent her working career in mental health services retiring from the Oconee Center.  Some of her greatest joys in life were her friends, family, and her adoring children and grandchildren.  Her memory will be cherished by many.

Survivors include, her children, Seth Jones and his wife Whitney of Evans and Kaitlin Jones of Calistoga CA; grandchildren, Jackson Hartley and Harrison Jones; mother, Allie F. McDonald; and siblings, Jay Brantley, Angela Garnto, Emily Zaenglein and Jerry Brantley all of Sandersville.
