Peggy Lou Fox

Peggy Lou Fox, age 94, of Orchard Lane in Sandersville, went to see Jesus on October 15, 2022. Her memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Tennille, Ga on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 1:30 PM.  The family will be available to visit with after the service at the church.  Officiating will be Rev. Lamar Brantley and Rev. Myron Wise.

She was born Peggy Lou Green March 12, 1928, in Coon Rapids, Iowa, to Albert and Beulah Green.  She invited Jesus into her heart as a teen and lived her life serving Him.  A sailor, Don Fox, caught her eye and they married after WWII ended in 1946. In the early 50’s they moved to south Florida and raised their family.  Her passion was Ladies’ Bible studies to help teach ladies to be Godly women.  She served her church in many capacities and loved going on mission trips around the world.  She has been a member of Princeton Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, FL, since 1967.  For the last nine years she has been a vital part of Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Tennille, Ga.  She has always been a prayer warrior, loving and supporting her pastors.

She is survived by her sisters, Jeannine Stanford of Boynton Beach, Fl, and Sharon Hiltbrunner of Clifton Park, NY, her four children, Toni Hawkins of Orlando, FL, Vicki Brantley and her husband Lamar of Sandersville, GA, Jeffrey Fox of Virginia Beach, VA, and Rebecca Denham of Homestead, FL, 11 grandchildren, Jill, Janet, Jamie, Joy, Amy, Abby, Adam, Anna, Jeremiah, Jessica, Jacob, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Donald Fox, her parents, Albert Green and Beulah Green Sypolt, her older sister, Rae Hoerner, and her younger brother, James Green.
