Mr. Ralph G Kornn, age 78, of Harrison passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Atrium Health-Navicent in Macon after a brief illness.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 5, in Washington County Memorial Gardens. Reverend Grady Vance, II will officiate. Pallbearers will be Eric Kornn, Hope Kornn, Jerod Kornn, Aidan Kornn, William Cross, and Sean Vertin.
Mr. Kornn was a native of Pittsfield, Massachusetts the son of the late Elmer Kornn, and the late Hazel Wetherell Kornn. Ralph possessed a strong love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time in the garden as well as watching birds of all sizes. Ralph proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam Conflict. Ralph is predeceased by his wife, Dolores Hunt Kornn.
Survivors include, brothers, Earl Kornn (Linda) of Adams, Massachusetts and Ernie Kornn (Lois) of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; sister, Betty Green (Don) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister-in-law, Monique Kornn of Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone who invested their time and efforts to care for Mr. Kornn during these last few years, especially after the passing of his wife.
The family will greet friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.
