Randall Hines Joiner

Mr. Randall Hines Joiner, age 71, of Tennille, died Friday, December 5, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Reverends Brant Kennedy and Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Benji Joiner, Ken Lindsey, Glenn Mathis, Eugene Lovett, Melton Jones, and Kenny Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be former Thiele co-workers.

Mr. Joiner was born in Washington County the son of the late Judge Hines Joiner and the late Dora Marshall Joiner. He was retired from Thiele Kaolin Company and he formerly worked for Washington Equipment Company. Mr. Joiner was a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He is predeceased by his brother, Isaac Linton Joiner.

Survivors are his children, Caughey Randall Joiner and his wife Beverly of Sandersville and Ellen Joiner Hortman and her husband Steve of Tennille; grandchildren, C.J. Joiner, Cam Joiner, Conley Joiner and Rachel Hortman; his uncle, Quince Marshall and his wife Pete of Foley, AL; and his aunt, Ethelene Odum of Palatka, FL.

The family will be at the home of Ellen and Steve Hortman on Colesby Smith Road south of Tennille and they will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
