Randall Carlton Waters

Randy Waters, age 61, of Harrison passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28, 2026. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday April 4th at 11:00 a.m. in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Tim Heirs will officiate his service. The Waters family will greet friends following the chapel service at the funeral home.

Randall Carlton Waters was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. As a youth he enjoyed the game of basketball and continued that love throughout life playing with his children and making it a topic of conversation. Randy began working early in his life as a carpenter for Charlie Weaver Construction. He later worked at Jimmy Lord Memorials, prior to returning to construction. Randy loved children and was always known as a great conversationalist. He is predeceased by his wife, Deborah Brown Waters, his parents, Mandle C. Waters Sr. and Joan B. Waters Brantley and one brother, Frank Waters.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Lindsey, Robert Lindsey, Amber Stephens and her husband Gamamiel, all of Sandersville and Jon Waters and his wife Megan of Milledgeville; nine grandchildren and his siblings, Mandle C. Waters Jr. and his wife Susie, Laura W. Smith, all of Harrison and Jimmy Waters and his wife Nancy of Sandersville.
