Ray Waters

Mr. Ray Waters, age 85, of Warthen died on Thursday morning, April 7, 2016, at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 9, in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville.

Mr. Waters was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Lola Bell Waters Crooms. He was a retired well driller for Baldwin County Drilling Company. He attended the Kendall Heights Church of God. Mr. Waters was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors are: a brother, Franklin Waters of Warthen; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 10:00 A. M. until 12:00 noon on Saturday.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
