Raymond L Hiller

Mr. Raymond L Hiller, age 95, of Martinez Ga passed away Tuesday December 31, 2024, surrounded by his family. A graveside service will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville, Georgia at 2:00 pm. with Reverend David Brooks officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Ray was a native of Dayton, Ohio before moving to Martinez, Georgia in 1982. He is the son of the late Roy L. Hiller and Thelma T. Hiller of Dayton, Ohio. He is predeceased by his first wife of 32 years June Y. Hiller and son Rickie M. Hiller.

He worked as a pressman at WF Hall Printing. After retirement, he worked on Corvette parts with Master City Corvette Company. He was an avid golfer into his 90s with his buddies until COVID hit. If the sun was shining, he was fixing up his yard. Even at his age, he took great pride in his yard. He was an active member of Belair Baptist Church in Grovetown, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years Catherine Tanner Hiller; children, Douglas Hiller and his wife Mary of Golden, Colorado, Jeffrey Hiller and his wife Betsy of Somerville, Texas, daughter in law Vivian Hiller of Dayton, Ohio, Eugene Prosser  and his wife Rose Marie of Davisboro, Georgia; grandchildren, Matthew Hiller and his wife Guen of Golden, Colorado, Beth Spurrier of Colorado, Mike Forman, John Forman, and Doug Forman all of Ohio, Tyler Prosser of Davisboro, Georgia, Kyle Prosser and his wife Jessica of Sandersville, Georgia; and several great grandchildren.
