Rebecca Diane Parkerson

Mrs. Rebecca Diane Parkerson, age 47, of Harrison died Friday April 22, 2016, in an Augusta Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 26, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Zeta Cemetery. Reverend Andy Yates will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Michael Olivet, Adam Bowen, Tony Wallace, Jordan Gainey, Luis Gainey, Wayne Self, Wanda Bowen, and Susan Ingram.

Mrs. Parkerson was a native of Fulton County, but had resided in Washington County for a number of years. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Floyd Johnston. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are: her daughter, Autumn Parkerson of Harrison; a son Michael Olivet of Monroe; a grandson, M. J. Olivet; her mother, Diane F. Johnston of Harrison; three sisters, Wanda Bowen and her husband Adam of Monroe, Susan Ingram of Senoia, and Tesa Wallace of Sandersville; two brothers, Tony Wallace and his wife Vangie of Sandersville, and Jody Gainey and his wife Robin of Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
