Rita Christine Rose

Mrs. Rita Christine Rose, age 31, of 4736 Bay Springs Road in Warthen died Monday April 12 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 15, at the Sisters Baptist Church at Sandersville with burial in the Davisboro Cemetery.

Mrs. Rose was born in Cobb County, Georgia but had lived in Washington County all of her life. She was a 1996 graduate of Brentwood School and earned a Bachelors Degree in Science and Nursing from the Georgia State College and University. She was a registered nurse with the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Survivors are her husband, Jake Ross Rose of Warthen, her precious son, Renner Ross Rose of Warthen, step daughter, Kylie Rose of Warthen, father, C. G. Mandrell, Jr. of Sandersville, mother , Grace Little Prince , step father, Mark Prince both of Sandersville, grandparents, Clifton Mandrell and Hope Mandrell of Cartersville, Clyde Prince and Elizabeth Prince of Sandersville, mother-in-law, Karen A. Gibbs of Sandersville, father and mother-in-law, Rod and Frieda Rose of Nebraska, grand father-in-law, Harvey Ed Rose of Florida, sister-in-law, Niki Rose of Dublin, aunts, Holley Burke of Virginia and Beth Little of Alpharetta, great aunt and cousins of Atlanta, Carrolton and Italy.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday.

The family suggests that donations be made to the Rita Rose Memorial Fund for her child’s education
