Robert Wayne Davis

Mr. Robert Wayne Davis, age 72, of Eatonton, Georgia died on Friday December 13, 2013 in the Coliseum Hospital in Macon following a brief illness. A memorial service for Mr. Davis will be held at a later date.


Mr. Davis was a native of Denver, Colorado, the son of the late John Elvin Davis and the late Nellie Jean Taylor Davis. He was a graduate of Gupton-Jones Mortuary School and held a funeral directors license in Florida, Georgia and Texas. Mr. Davis was a retired investigator for the Travis County Texas Medical Examiner’s Office. He served in the United States Air Force.


Survivors are his children, Robert Wayne Davis II of Sugar Hill, GA, Christina Davis Lopez of New Port Richey, FL, and Justin Davis of Johnson City, TX; step-children, Tony Seile and Brandy Robinson both of Johnson City, TX; six grandchildren; and four brothers, Dewey Davis of Eatonton, Paul Davis of Lake City, FL, Bill Davis and Jimmy Davis of Herrin, IL.
