Robert Walter Hilliard

Mr. Robert Walter Hilliard, age 62, of 211 West McCoy Street in Davisboro died Tuesday morning January 12 in an Augusta hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday January 15 in the Davisboro Baptist Church with burial in the Davisboro City Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Glover will officiate. Pallbearers will be Keith Reeves, Tim Beal, Jack Hilliard, Jess Hilliard, Benji Amerson and Jim Hooks.

Mr. Hilliard was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia, the son of the late Jess Willard Hilliard, Sr. and the late Louise Ingram Hilliard. He was a retired employee of Washington Farms. Mr. Hilliard was a member of the Davisboro Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Ann Black Hilliard of Davisboro, two step children, Eugenia Wood of Davisboro and Regina Reeves of Sandersville, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two sisters, Paulette Hilliard Cobb of Sandersville and Chris Hilliard Griffith of Sandersville, a brother, J. W. Hilliard of Sandersville.

The family suggest donations be made to the Davisboro Baptist Church, 2669 Harrison-Davisboro Road, Davisboro, Georgia 31018. The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday.
