Robert Henry Knowles, Jr

Mr. Robert Henry Knowles, age 60, of Harrison died on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 9 in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery near Harrison. Reverend Scott Osborne will officiate.

Mr. Knowles was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. The son of the late Robert Henry Knowles, Sr. and the late Barbara Ann Jones Moss and the step son of the late Alfred Robert Moss. He was a mechanic.

Survivors are his wife, Kathryn Louise Knowles of Harrison; a daughter, Michelle Knowles Pullen of Milledgeville; a son, Richard Henry Knowles of Sandersville; five grandchildren, Bethany Ann Knowles, Katlyn Elizabeth Knowles, Millie Kate Knowles, Delmas Ricky Kight and Blake Patrick Kight; a great grandson, Logan Patrick Kight; a brother, Bobby Leo Bates of Harrison; sisters, Rita Carmen Weaver of Harrison, Lori Knowles Deloach of Arcadia, FL, Sallie Knowles and Roberta Knowles.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday evening.
