Robert Harmon Morris, Sr.

Mr. Robert Harmon Morris, Sr., age 76 of Panther Branch Road in Sandersville passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Augusta University Medical Center following an extended illness. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Morris was born in Marietta, on November 3, 1946, the son of the late Oscar Harmon Morris and the late Hazel Mae Dobbs Morris. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Morris was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a talented carpenter. He loved his family and was a dedicated father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, his is proceeded in death by his wife of 42 years, Rhonda Smith Morris, and grandson, Mason Morris.

Survivors include, children, Robbie Morris (LeAnna) of Sandersville, Kevin Morris (Ann) of Tennille, Chris Morris and Jessica Morris Thompson, both of Sandersville; grandchildren, Morgan Boulineau (Cory), Quinton Morris (Sage), Zach Morris, and Abigail Forehand (Jackson); great grandchildren, Kayden Morris, and soon to arrive, Jackson Forehand, Jr.; siblings, Brenda Stapleton of Milledgeville, Joe Morris (Janice) of Whitesburg, Danny Morris (Lucille) of Temple, Pam Seabolt (David) of Aragon, Penny Saine of Powder Springs, and Charles Morris (Lea) of Menlo; and many nieces and nephews.
