Ronald E Burkhart

Mr. Ronald Edward Burkhart, age 74, of Sandersville, died on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his residence.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8th at 11 am in the auditorium at Oconee Fall Line Technical School.

Mr. Burkhart was a native of Berwyn, Illinois, the son of the late Stewart Edsel Burkhart and the late Florence Carol Stasi, but had resided in Sandersville for years.  He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Master’s degree in Education.  He taught at Brentwood School and the Oconee Fall Line Technical College.  Mr. Burkhart was an United States Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict.

Survivors are his sisters, Mary Ann Frederickson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Carol Blakemore of Crest, Illinois.
