Mr. Ronald Edward Osborne, age 53, of Harrison, Georgia died Monday, September 22, 2014 in the Coliseum Hospital in Macon following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 25th, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church Cemetery near Harrison. Rev. Fred Morrison, Rev. Rocky Rochester and Rev. Ron Bracewell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kevin Smith Dunn, Perry Smith, Billy Hurt, James Barber, Danzel Linder, Eddie Braswell, Andrick Jackson and Curtis Blount.
Mr. Osborne was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Walter Clinton Osborne, Jr. He was a retired employee of Fred’s Pest Control and attended the Pleasant Plains Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Osborne.
Survivors are his wife, Jeannie Costley Osborne of Harrison; his mother, Jessie Mae West Osborne of Wrightsville; his children, Lisa Marie Osborne, Kelli Michelle Osborne, Lacey Dawn Osborne and Ronald Edward Osborne, Jr. all of Harrison; six grandchildren, Jordan Osborne, Rodreicus Carlyle, Kaleigha Womble, Jazmine Osborne, Khyreik Carlyle and Khyleigh Carlyle; four brothers, Willie Clinton Osborne and Glen Osborne both of Tennille, James Clinton Osborne of Statesboro and James Grady Osborne of Charleston, S.C.; two sisters, Peggy Rentz of Louisville and Latasha Burkett of Sandersville.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
