Ruby L. Deal

Mrs. Ruby L. Deal, age 89 of Gray passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Gibson Health and Rehab, following an extended illness. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Noonday Cemetery in Twin City, with Reverend Weston Williford officiating.

Mrs. Deal was born in Johnson County, the daughter of the late Hughy Logue and the late Estella Hall Logue. She retired from Georgia College as an administrative assistant. In her free time, Mrs. Deal enjoyed gardening and working with flowers, as well as reading and doing word puzzles. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Deal; and her sons, Steve Deal and Mark Deal.

Mrs. Deal is survived by her grandchildren, Chris Deal, Zack Deal, Abby Davenport, Brandon Deal, and Brittany Bloodworth (Forrest); great grandchildren, Chloe and Brooke Bloodworth; niece, Cheryl Trobaugh (Ron); nephew, Terry Lord (Nona); and many other family and friends.
