Ruby Adel Lord

Mrs. Ruby Adel Lord, age 98 of Tennille, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2020  at Heritage Inn of Sandersville.  Funeral services for Mrs. Lord will be held on Friday, January 3 at 2 pm at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville.  Reverend Gary Mimbs will officiate.  Burial will be private in Zeta Cemetery.

Mrs. Lord was a native of Barrow County Georgia, but had lived in Tennille most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Floyd Sanders and the late Lola Mae Etheridge Sanders and the wife of the late Bernard Randolph Lord. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosalind Lynn Lord and her thirteen brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Lord was a long time employee of the Washington Manufacturing Company.  She was a member of Tennille Baptist Church.

Survivors are her son, Randy Lord and his wife Janice of Tennille, three grandchildren, Zina Stephens and her husband Alan of Eatonton, Vonda Everett and her husband Kevin of Bartow and Will Lord and his wife Kristen of Roswell, five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. on Friday until the hour of service.
