Ruby C. Poole

Mrs. Ruby C. Poole, age 76, of Milledgeville, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at the Chaplinwood Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15th at 12 noon at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Rev. Randy King, Rev. Lamar Brantley and Mr. Danny Yates will officiate. Pallbearers will be Richard Smith, T.J. Jackson, Eric Poole, Alan Michael Jones, Mack Smith and Alan Smith.

Mrs. Poole was born in Washington County the daughter of the late Floyd Smith and the late Ruby Shurling Smith. She retired from Central State Hospital as a health service technician and attended the Snow Hill Methodist Church in Ivey. Mrs. Poole is predeceased by a son Phil Poole and a grandson Phillip Poole.

Survivors are her children, Lawanna Williams (Jerry) and Janet Suggs (Troy) all of Milledgeville and Wayne Poole (Cheryl) of Sandersville, grandchildren, Tina Williams, Shana Ryan, Raven Smith, Eric Poole, T.J. Jackson, and Alan Michael Jones, and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
