Ruby Franklin Swint

Mrs. Ruby Franklin Swint, age 76, of Sandersville died on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Heritage Inn following an extended illness. Services will be private.

Mrs. Swint was a native of Johnas Ridge, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Gromer Franklin and the late Roxie Clark Franklin.  She had resided in Sandersville for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sandersville.  Mrs. Swint was a former preschool owner and a teacher at Tennille Elementary School.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, William Franklin, Lee Franklin, Ray Franklin, and Eula Franklin Harrison.

Survivors are her husband, Steve Franklin Swint of Sandersville; sons, Sam Thompson and his wife Jill of Port Orange, FL, Tim Thompson and his wife Jane of Boone, NC, and Alex Frizzelle of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; grandchildren, Savannah Thompson, Chase Thompson, Reagan Thompson; and siblings, Cheryl Carver and her husband Kenneth of Johnas Ridge, NC, Bobby Franklin and his wife Sabo of Newland, NC, Harold Franklin and his wife Barbara of Johnas, NC, Jack Franklin and Omer Franklin both of Morgantown, NC.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
