Ruth Wagler Fox

Mrs. Ruth Fox was born on December 31, 1932, to Elmer and Marguerite Wagler in Emma, Kentucky. Ruth accepted Christ as her Savior when she was 5 years of age and has served her Lord faithfully in music, youth, children’s, and missions type ministries through the years. She enjoyed gardening and entertaining her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Ruth Fox departed this life on May 23, 2016 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Rev. Elmer Wagler; mother, Marguerite Ogden Wagler; and her beloved sister, Lois Alexander.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 61 years, Neil Fox, and one brother, Rev. Robert Wagler; four children and their spouses: Sharon and Wade Dawson of Sandersville, Georgia, Karen and Nolan Pierce of New Port Richey, Florida, Miriam and Forrest Simmons of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Steven and Debbie Fox of Tifton, Georgia:
13 grandchildren and their spouses, 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Sandersville, GA on Sunday, May 29 at 2:30pm. There will be a private graveside service for the family.
