Ruth Josey

Mrs. Ruth Josey, age 85, of Tennille died on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 24 in Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.

Mrs. Josey was a native of Johnson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Eustus Fulford and the late Annie Myrtle Anderson Fulford.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors are her husband, William Ellis Josey of Tennille; three daughters: Linda J. Price and her husband Charles of Tennille, Martha A. Veal and her husband Jerry of Tennille and Mildred R. Hobby of Davisboro; a sister, Bobbie Jean Meeks and her husband Harvey of Swainsboro; and a brother, William Gordon Fulford and his wife Margaret of Wrightsville; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Washington County Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 71, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
