Sammy Bussell

Mr. Walker Samuel “Sammy” Bussell, age 65 of Oconee passed away at Oconee Nursing Home on Monday, March 27, 2023, following an extended illness. A graveside service to celebrate his life was held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Warthen with Reverend Bobby Williford officiating.

Mr. Bussell was a life long native of Washington County. He was the son of the late William Harris Bussell and the late Joyce Snider Bussell. Mr. Bussell spent his working career as a truck driver, working most recently for Howard Sheppard.

Mr. Bussell is survived by his brother, Perry Bussell and his wife Debbie of Warthen; and many other family members and friends.
