Ms. Sandra Karen Eubanks Edwards, age 52, of Sandersville died on Sunday, September 20, 2015, in the Washington Regional Medical Center in Sandersville following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, at 2:00 P.M. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery in Oconee. Mr. Russell Brown will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Richard McGee, Thomas Coffey, Waylan Hitchcock, Joey Kitchens, Chris Brown, Jimmy Purser, Keith Cordy, Chad Phillips and Tony Tanner.

Ms. Edwards was a native of Fulton County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Ray Eubanks. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Eubanks. Ms. Edwards was a sales clerk and cashier for 15 Speedway and Citgo in Tennille for over twenty eight years.

Survivors are: a daughter, Kendra Juanita Edwards and her fiancé Thomas of Sandersville; a son, Cory Alan Edwards and his wife Tracy of Sandersville; a granddaughter, Alayna Ann Edwards; her mother, Bessie Suggs Eubanks of Wrightsville; two sisters, Susie Brock and her husband Glen of Senoah and Annette Brown and her husband Charlie of Wrightsville; three brothers, Don Eubanks and his wife Cindy of Waco, Georgia, Smokey Eubanks and his wife Tammy of Winston, Georgia, and Dan Eubanks and his wife Candice of Swainsboro, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
