Scott Alan Bardwell

Scott Alan Bardwell, age 57, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024.  A family graveside memorial service will be held at Antioch Christian Church Cemetery, in Oconee, Georgia.

Scott was raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he graduated high school and attended the University of Alabama, earning a Bachelor's degree in business.  Later, Scott started a construction and home building company, Liger, LLC, that he owned and operated most of life.

Scott was known for his story telling and was quick to crack a joke. He was an avid snow skier and a long time member of the Birmingham Ski Club, along side his father. A jack of all trades, Scott had a vast amount of knowledge about homes and vehicles, which he generously shared with many people over the years.  Most of all, he was known for his deep love for his children.

Scott is predeceased by his parents, Gene Paul Bardwell and Sylvia Hodges Bardwell, and his brother, Eric Bardwell.

He is survived by his children, Alyssa Bardwell Ragan and her husband Rich, of Watkinsville, Ga, and Ryan Bardwell of Winder, Ga; and one granddaughter, Reese Ragan.
