Scott "Mongo" Prandy

Mr. Scott “Mongo” Prandy, age 59 of Deepstep Creek Road in Sandersville passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his residence. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Prandy was born in Grinnell, Iowa and served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He spent his working career as a neuro diagnostic technologist. Mr. Prandy was a compassionate and giving person who was good at anything he did. He was a passionate disc golfer and an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Mr. Prandy loved his family above all else and was a wonderful dad and papa. He is proceeded in death by his stepfather, Lance Humbert; and brother, Mike Humbert.

Mr. Prandy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Chase Prandy; children, Brittany Fennell (Spencer) of Cobb, Jillian Stewart (C-Jay) of Lawrenceville, and Seth Prandy (Lauren) of Roswell; grandchildren, Sebastian Walton, Michael Walton, Bryceon Fennell, Brody Workman, Brock Burnside, Maebree Fennell, and Aubrey Workman; great granddaughter, Natalie Crosby; mother, Karen Humbert of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; siblings, Ron Humbert, Tammy Etscheidt, Laurie Roth, Dawn Pulford, all of Iowa and Kalvin Prandy of Wisconsin.
