Sharon Bridges Osborne

Sharon Bridges Osborne, age 56, of Tennille passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 following a brief illness.  A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marty Deal officiating.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service.

Sharon was born in Augusta and reared in Louisville, the daughter of the late Rembert Bridges and the late Mary Magdaline Huff Bridges.  Growing up she attended school in Louisville and was an active member of Louisville Church of God.  She moved to Washington County and began work as a seamstress for Royal Manufacturing and for other garment makers in the area.  Later she became a homemaker, becoming the neighborhood Nanny to her grandchildren and everyone else.  She loved to fish, go to the river and play ball with all the kids.  She will be missed by many.

Survivors are her husband Glen Osborne of Tennille; children, Terry O’quinn and his wife Jessica of Sandersville and Felisha Ann Osborne of Tennille; grandchildren, Jacob Belk, Caleb Belk, Katelyn Belk, Mary O’quinn, Judy O’quinn, Kadie O’quinn, Olivia Osborne, Renee Linder, Tarrance Linder, Brittany Linder, Tiffany Ellison, Amorie Dixon and Zaylon Dixon; and siblings, Pete Bridges and his wife Barbara, Glenn Bridges and his wife Shelia and Mary Ann Brown and her husband Danny.
