Sheena W Hargrove

Sheena W. Hargrove, age 47, of Northlake Drive, Sandersville, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.  A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville with Reverend Joe Crosby and Reverend Danny Thomas officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home and also following the funeral service on Friday at the church using social distancing practices.

Sheena was born in Sparta, Tennessee and grew up in both Dayton, Ohio and Tavares, Florida where she attended High School.  For many years, Sheena made her home in Swainsboro where she raised her family and worked for Walmart and Jennings Turf Farms.  She was a current resident of Sandersville and employed as an e-commerce customer service representative for Zorlu.  Sheena loved traveling, especially to the mountains or the beach.  She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.  Her favorite pastime was family gatherings especially with her grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her father, Kenneth Jon Wintermute and grandson, Kayden James Rogers.

Survivors are her husband, John Michael Hargrove Sr.; children, Sybrena Lillian Rogers, Diedra Deanna Bedgood and her husband Chris, James Edward Rogers III and his wife Kendall all of Swainsboro, John Michael Hargrove Jr. and his wife Angel, Daniel Faith Robinson and her husband Michael and Shelbie Brianna Hargrove all of Sandersville, Coleby Ryan Hargrove of Dublin and Jeremy Rogers Lane of Eustis FL.; 14 grandchildren; mother, JoAnn Blaire Gillis of Dayton OH.; brothers, Kenneth Jon Wintermute, Jr., Christopher Jon Wintermute and his wife Kara and William Allen Wintermute all of Ohio and Cody Gillis of Swainsboro; and one special nephew.
