Sherrie Yates Veal

Ms. Sherrie Yates Veal, age 57, of Sandersville, died Sunday, December 28, 2014. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th at 2:00pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Reverend Danny Thomas and Reverend Jim Dunn will officiate. Pallbearers will be Artie Yates, Horace Yates, Matt Daniels, Carrell Godfrey, Joe Coleman, Randy Wren and Joe Ellis.

Sherrie was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County the daughter of the late Forace Robert “Rob” Yates and the late Betty Wren Yates Moxley. She worked as a personal care giver and she formerly worked for the Hungry Hunter Convenience Store. Sherrie is predeceased by a daughter, Leigha Beth Veal.

Survivors are; her brother, Robert Yates and his wife Janie; two daughters, April Veal and Angie Veal; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
