Sheryl-Anne Albury Mccoy

Ms. Sheryl-Anne Albury McCoy, age 64 of Wrightsville, passed away at Washington County Regional Medical Center on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Ms. McCoy was born the daughter of the late Gerald Albury, and the late Joan Decker Albury. Sheryl was born in the Bahamas, on the Island of Bimini, as a result of her father’s career as a commercial fisherman. She was a graduate of South Dade High School in Miami. Sheryl was a private individual who loved a good laugh and enjoyed listening to music. She cherished her friends and family and would do anything for them within her power. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Dale McCoy.

Ms. McCoy is survived by her daughter, Shannon Marie Weimer of Minnesota; son, David Kent and his wife Christie of Sandersville; grandchildren, Dakota Carter of Wrightsville, Hannah Kent, and Bowden Kent, both of Mississippi; and siblings, Belinda Albury of Indiana, Cliff Albury of Florida, and Tammy Warshaw of North Carolina.
